Thinking about buying a lightweight Scooter and putting it on my catwalk. Anyone ever done this ?
We haul loads mostly under 10k. Heavy for us is under 25k.
Anyone Bring A Scooter OTR ?

Seen a moped but not a scooter. How heavy is it going to be?

Seen a couple over the last few weeks not secured to the catwalk but tied off between the grab rails behind the cab similar to how some folks secure their spare tires back there.

They problem might be the wheel base is 49 inches . you could have a piece of angle iron cut drill holes in it and mount it to the cat walk so it will sit safely on there . THen just ratchet strap it to the cat walk.

No but that is a sweet idea.

you'd also want to cover it up. cuz you know. it's going to get DIRTY back there.
i don't know where you'd ride it though. as it's not big enough to require registration. least in utah anyways. and unlicensed vehicles aren't allowed on the streets.
for that kind of money though, i think i'd look into a used 250 cc enduro. might be a little heavier but it can be ridden around town and have some power to go somewhere.TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Couldn't you register it and ride it on city streets? Use to see those little pocket rockets with plates and I think they were only 50cc.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
I would register it and get my license.
