Howdy All,
I am looking to replace the Uniden 68XL, that was stolen from my truck while I was in Ontario CA. Let me state for the record, I know next to nothing about radios. I have done some searching and on another truck list I frequent a shop called Radio Active was mentioned, as was a Connex 3300HP radio that this shop modifys with what they call a Super Wack.
Has anyone had any experience with either this shop or this radio? Thanks for any information you can share.
Dave

Howdy All,
Thanks for the advise to do a search on them, looks like I'll NOT be spending any money there. So lets change the direction of this thread, can anyone suggest an HONEST shop to deal with when looking for a good-tuned CB, THANKS.

Bells, Clay's, Ranger Hill CB lots of others. Connex 3300 is very good choice. Good as any w/good antenna and coax.

Chucks CB Shop in Tennessee on I-40. Awesome work, very very reasonable, and a even better guy. Message me on here if you want his contact info. He can mail it to you after he does the work you want done to it.
