Im having problem with the dealer that tried to fix my truck but never did and not willing to pay me back nor negotiate with me to cover the expenses at another dealer. I'm trying to learn where to start from, looking for a lawyer in Chicago area who could represent me at court. What kind of lawyer could help me or does anyone have gone through this thing and what could you suggest? Thx
Anyone sued dealers?

Don't know about suing dealers.
But if your having engine trouble I'd get it to a Detroit dealer not a freightliner dealer ...
Maybe start a thread in the garage forum describing the problem and someone can help .....
Get it fixed now, sue later..... -
document everything on the repairs and be ready for a long drawn out process

Small Claims Court.

$10K limit in IL
Document everything. It's a quick process in California, I would take 10K in small claims even if I had 25K in damages, it's so much faster & simpler with no effing lawyers to pay.Last edited: May 28, 2016
