Probably 10 years ago I was loading some cars at a chevy dealer for the auction and a new car hauler was nearby with a hard hat on. I walked over and asked him what was up with the hard hat, if it was required or what. He replied by asking if I ever bump my head while loading/unloading. I laughed and said a lot of times, he said " there ya go". I still don't wear one but wonder how many, if any of you do?

I was at a place recently that required one. Being myself and always trying to beat the imaginary clock in my mind I jumped back up in my truck with it on and blasted it on the roof. Felt about a foot shorter afterwards. Talk about neck pain.

Isn't the tin foil hat for honing in on aliens or something?

Those things are pretty slick. Must be what all the "special" drivers are wearing because I don't see the typical white ones with the chin strap.

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Man wearing a tin foil hat
A tin foil hat is a hat made from one or more sheets of aluminium foil, or a piece of conventional headgear lined with foil, worn in the belief it shields the brain from threats such as electromagnetic fields, mind control, and mind reading. The notion of wearing homemade headgear for such protection has become a popular stereotype and byword for paranoia, persecutory delusions, and belief in pseudo science and conspiracy theories. Foil hats have appeared in the films Signs and Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder. Note that "tin foil" is a common misnomer for aluminum foil; packaging metal foil was formerly made out of tin before it was replaced with aluminum.[1]
