Where did you hear this at? Kind of makes sense but never heard of that one...of course that brings into question why they failed QC in the first place....

Some of their stuff, yes. My point was, there is a radio by Stryker called the SR-89MC....compare it to an Anytone Apollo I.....

    And the Stryker SR-5 antenna.....compare to a Wilson 1000.

I'll betcha if you disassembled both the Wilson and the Stryker, they'd look every little bit the same inside.

That was the point I was trying to make.

Glad to hear this! I'm just about to order a Sirio Performer 5000 Trucker 3/8 to replace the Wilson 2000 on my truck.
Been hearing good things about the Sirio antennas for a little while now, it's good to hear, from someone who's opinion I trust, that they are as good as I've heard.

The amp wasn't the point, and none of the 10 meter radios can hang with my Cobra if I'm running the amp. The point was, these new radios can't be worked on but by a very few. And they don't perform any better. So why buy one???

The few who can work on them are really the only guys worth going to anyway.

Very true, but the good ones are far and few between.

The Anytone Apollo I and the Stryker SR-89MC are the same radio, just re-badge... Same go's with Stryker's antenna and the Wilson 1000...same antenna, just badged for Stryker...Don't know why people don't believe this go's on... Sears been doing it for years with their Kenmore products...

As for the Mirage radios being "failed Galaxy's or Ranger radios" and being rebadged...That's not true. They are made by Ranger tho, just a different line of radios. Heck, the knobs on the Mirage aren't even in the same order as the Ranger radios or Galaxy's, so they can't just be rebadged...

First i agree ive ran them all and im back running a comp cobra 29 by dustin at r
First i agree the cobra 29 is my favorite im running a comp cobra 29 built by dustin at R&R now.now as far as any 10 meter keeping up with your cobra all they have to do is run an amp also.i was running a connex 4300hp driving a 4 pill fatboy that would crush a 29 driving that same amp why?because my connex was driving the amp harder then a 29 ever could.my point is the right combo is more important then the radio that being said cant go wrong with the 29.
