Has anyone else seen an uptick in appointment times on your live load or unload that are set according to dispatch info and load boad, but not according to shipper or receiver? Now to sit and wait for free for a couple hours until they can squeeze me in.

Thanks, I have only noticed it since first of year. The pick up today drop 150 miles away 4 days later has always been there.

They times they post for pickups and deliveries makes no sense anymore.
We have several places with open pickups on preloads, and it has always been that way in those places. CS now makes up times, I guess thinking it helps them ensure ontime delivery. Wrong, it results in loads simply not being assigned to trucks.
IP in Valliant sometimes has loads set to pickup by 2359 on a day that is two days earlier than what it needs to be to deliver the load on time. Who's gonna take a load like that? It was never like that until a few months ago.
Simmons in Siloam Springs could care less when we pick up those preloads, but we have stupid pickup windows made up by CS.
And Walmart gives 24 hours before or after a drop window, but for some reason, we now have one day windows to drop those loads, which makes most of them unproductive at best. Wasn't that long ago, most of the Walmart loads showed multiple day drop windows.
All of this seemed to change about the same time.48Packard, TennMan, Home_on_wheels and 1 other person Thank this. -

Well run companies don't do "IPO prep" at the operational level.
