thermo-king tripac, about 2008 or 2009.
(only when the a/c unit is on)—> two-click repeating sequence: click #1, followed .8 seconds later by click #2….then two seconds later this repeats, again and again. clicks coming from the huge air-filter-lookin-thing under the bunk. a/c works fine, though. also…the generator itself (the tripac motor) sort of revs up just a little, barely noticable, along with the rhythm of the clicks.
like i said the a/c works fine now, but i’m worried because a few months ago the apu was clicking exactly like this but warm air was blowing out....i can't find the invoice but i think there was a hole somewhere where freon was leaking out. but i don't think i have a leak this time. who knows
any ideas?
UPDATE: clicking was getting faster so i called the dealer. they said it sounded like a freon leak so i’m just gonna take it in
apu makes rhythmic clicking sound
