    New driver here for USX. I've noticed what appears to be a speaker and/or listening device mounted near the passenger door up by the dash. Anybody know for sure what this is?

    What kind of truck are you driving?
    Perhaps it's just a factory speaker. If the company wanted to spy on you, they would have a camera installed in your truck, not just a mic.

    If you have the meritor wabco OnGuard collision ovoidance system it's most likely the little small speaker that alerts when you are following too close.
