Are all of the other companies going to all automatics with their new trucks? I know saia is and was just curious if others were as well.

I am sure some carriers are moving towards autos to fill seats with incompetent drivers that can't shift gears.
For me personally, absolutely not. I will not run an auto.Ty3000 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Or maybe to speed up training?
I think older people like them. -
Thanks be to the automatic transmission restriction, plus the fact that most of the OTR have already switched over, drivers that can shift a manual will only get harder to find. Hell, we had one idiot that burnt up not one but TWO clutches in 32k miles.Dave_in_AZ, blairandgretchen and chopper103in Thank this. -
