    I understand that the Autosock is for the most part legal in the US. Has anyone tried them or know somebody who is using them?

    They are okay if your are lightly stuck in a parking lot, or if chains are required but conditions aren't all that bad. You can't run them for very long as they wear out quickly.

    I think they'd be good if you only chained once in a while when the alternative is staying in Dove Creek, CO for a couple days.
