I may be going back to drive local home every night for a branch of Circle S Ranch with round trips taking feed to the farms. Week after next I'm gonna way them all out and decide. I do like driving so this is very very tempting.

I'd have to agree with him.

Once you've ran the road for awhile, the last thing you want is to be shackled to the house. I'd be climbing the walls after a couple days.

I don't think I will ever miss the OTR lifestyle....
It's not for everyone that's for sure and I would never ever recommend it to anyone that's married with kids , ( especially young married couples)

That's about the truth too. I took a $500 cut in take home pay just to stay home. For a tanker gig. Anything else wouldn't have been worth coming home too. And yes, 2 months and i'm still adjusting to sleeping in my own bed. at night. Putting in a long 11 hours but for the first time in my life i get 2 days off. IN A ROW. A shower and teeth brushing every day. WITHOUT 55 million truckers using it. And a toilet ONLY used by me. Home cooked meals again. etc. etc. etc.
