1st thing Monday on a drill pipe run I was informed by company man 3 more rigs are coming down. And they were only doing one more hole.
Rig count is in the mid 40s and I'm planning to head back hope and haul petroleum. No need to stay here and complain.
Bakken still rockin?

Well...my friend, who got a job at KNS on his first day looking, was just laid off yesterday, Feb. 1. KNS had hired him beginning of Dec. and he had a good run with with them working for 2 months of 70 hr. weeks.
KNS lost their contract (it was up for rebid and he knew it when he hired on) to a lower bidder but he didn't hear who. They let 10 guys go of the 15 drivers they had. -
rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

Yes, Continental was their customer.
I haven't been to BOH SWD in a while as I've been using Whiting's own swd along the 1804. -

Still driving, but got cut last week from roughly 70-75 hours a week down to 40 until there is more work. Grateful to be working but times are scary up here in the Bakken. Layoffs everywhere.
