Batter fuel millege

Be more specific. I have a 91 379 with a completely mechanical 3046b engine. Ive found that 65mph is a good top speed that keeps me around 6mpg. If I exceed 70, my mpg go to less than 5. I shortshift when empty or bobtail. I dont dragrace off lights. Im currently working on trying to get lighter and more aerodynamic.

 

So right ! ...so many facters go into this ...as for me I quit relying on the restriction gauge for the air filters and changed em .
Had charge cooler tested and repaired .
Put on generater and ac .
Mpg went from high 4s and low 5s to low to mid 6s.
