Best Bars For Truckers

Beware of the Catchew chicken at the buffet.

 

Any place that has 'Spa' in the name is good.

 

Gone but not forgotten, one of the funnest places ever was Country Bobs in Binghampton NY. Some of the crazy stuff you would see in there :smt103

 

Yup right up there w/old Stony Ridge! And if ya did it right you could do one Fri nite&the other on Sat....lol

I used to think that but lately, I've been to a few where the money would have been better spent at Walmart.

 

Not sure if this is a "best bars for truckers" bar but the steak house (Two Rivers) next to the Loves in Canton, MS has outstanding oysters (half shell raw or grilled), fried shrimp, and steaks. The bar has a huge wine and beer list, as well as a very comprehensive list of top shelf booze (mostly vodkas, whiskeys/bourbons, and liquors) and the wait staff and bar staff are cordial and very easy to look at. Maybe a bit pricey for some, but not overpriced for the food/drink quality, service, and atmosphere. Several TV's, but dark, quiet, and relaxing. Mostly locals who are very funny and friendly.

I haven't been to either one for a while....

 

That was a pretty good place; lots of fun there.

 

I was the Long Haul Saloon at the Simonson truck plaza last night in Grand Forks, ND. Two for one 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger baskets.
