I get a kick out of drivers going haywire over chicken fried steak. That's like getting excited about minute steaks. What is the big deal? I'd have to be starving with zero other options to even eat it.

It's been 20 years. There was a place in Ill that served Chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. HUGE plate of biscuits. Little ma and pa restaurant. I want to say it was on 57.

Those are the ones I went to.

I had a chicken fried chicken at the cafe a mile down the road from Flyin J in Tucumcari about a month ago (right at I-40 BIZ/US-54 junction). C.F.Steak is probably good if it's anything like the C.F.Chicken I had. Average price, good portion.

There's a German-theme restaurant near I-90/I-94 split in Wisconsin, and they serve a veal cutlet meal. It was kinda similar to C.F.S. It was pretty good but expensive (around $30).
