best used truck

That's an open question are you running the mountains with 40k+ on the tail. It has a lot to do with where & what you will hauling. You need to add some more information to it.

 

You'd probably be better off buying stock options or mutual funds for that little cash. When you buy a used truck, especially one with high miles, you want at least what you spend on it in cash in the bank for when things go wrong and you have to start paying for repairs.

And if you are going to "B A SUPERTRUCKER" why do you care about fuel economy? Your major goal is running 24 hours a day, as fast as you can, to get the load there right when they want it.
