I passed! Orientation on Monday.

Orientation starts today. My roommate is a talker. I may do more updates than usual just to get some peace and quiet...

Also, what's up with the shuttle drivers? Every time I get in a car or van to go from bus to hotel or hotel to terminal, I end up afraid for my life...yesterday's driver thought the lines on the road were more a suggestion than a rule...he kept creating his own lane down the center...

 

LOL Swift shuttles are supposed to "scare you straight" to being a safe driver. [emoji56]

 

Is the training for swift in TN at the Millington location or the actual terminal now?

 

I got my driver code today!!! Hoping to go out with a mentor tomorrow. Orientation wasn't too bad. A tad tedious--lots of HR type videos--who, by now, doesn't know what constitutes sexual harassment? Lots of paperwork. Drug tests and physicals. If you came through Swift Academy recently, you won't be required to complete a road test. They'll do a background check while you're in class. Lunch is provided but no drink. Subs the first day, chic-fil-a, then burgers.

I'm back in my hotel room. Gonna enjoy a hot shower, a hot dinner, and a good night's sleep.
