Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities:

· Operate a semi-truck in a manner that is consistent with all applicable State and Federal laws

· Inspects truck before and after trips

· Ensure all paperwork is complete

· Demonstrate and perform job safely and efficiently

· Maintain and update all applicable logs

· Ensure all freight is secured in the correct manner

· Comply with all operating safety rules, regulations and requirements

· Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:Required to be 21 years of age of older. Must have a Class-A CDL. Must have some over-the-road experience. Must be able to pass a drug test. Favorable MVR.

Physical Demands:The employee in this position should be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods, lift objects, see objects far and near, speak clearly, use fingers and hands to grasp, move or assemble objects, bend, stretch, twist, reach out, coordinate movement of body parts and control machine equipment.


Work Environment:The employee typically works driving a semi-truck. Driver is home most weekends.
