Cute as hell, not much help and sleeps a lot, lol I was never one that took a pet with me in the truck, I got her last week and now it looks like we are heading for the NW into a Blizzard, Oh well got to get accustomed to the truck sooner or later

Thank you, I have always wanted one but was never into purebred dogs, always had a rescue dog mutt or pound puppy mixed breed, but after looking for the last two months for a shelter Akita or Akita mix, I bit the bullet and brought her home, not a puppy mill either, just a regular family that had two Akitas, got to meet both her parents and check them out, so pretty happy about that.

IMG100.jpg She's a beaut. When I first brought my puppy in to the truck I would take her out every two hours too pee. I limited the amount of water she could drink and a couple hours before bed I wouldn't let her drink anything.
That and a shipping blanket on the floor of the bunk with a little pillow( cusions her head for potholes)for her head.

That is a beautiful dog. I miss my Rex. I haven't got over him yet and its been almost 4 years. I hope the best for the both of you. Rex was literally my road dog. When I would get out my seat he would be right there when I would get back. The best thing I like was when the "women of the night" would knock on the door. He took care of that he had a mean bark & let them know my master will not be disturbed. I miss my dog so much. He got hit by a car. It was my fault also.
