Cute as hell, not much help and sleeps a lot, lol I was never one that took a pet with me in the truck, I got her last week and now it looks like we are heading for the NW into a Blizzard, Oh well got to get accustomed to the truck sooner or later

Thank you, I have always wanted one but was never into purebred dogs, always had a rescue dog mutt or pound puppy mixed breed, but after looking for the last two months for a shelter Akita or Akita mix, I bit the bullet and brought her home, not a puppy mill either, just a regular family that had two Akitas, got to meet both her parents and check them out, so pretty happy about that.

Nice dog! Hopefully she gets used to it quickly.

She's a beaut. When I first brought my puppy in to the truck I would take her out every two hours too pee. I limited the amount of water she could drink and a couple hours before bed I wouldn't let her drink anything.
That and a shipping blanket on the floor of the bunk with a little pillow( cusions her head for potholes)for her head.Dominick253, TigerShark, Terry270 and 6 others Thank this. -
That is a beautiful dog. I miss my Rex. I haven't got over him yet and its been almost 4 years. I hope the best for the both of you. Rex was literally my road dog. When I would get out my seat he would be right there when I would get back. The best thing I like was when the "women of the night" would knock on the door. He took care of that he had a mean bark & let them know my master will not be disturbed. I miss my dog so much. He got hit by a car. It was my fault also.
