Broker held trailer for 2 weeks

    hello how can i sue a broker for trailer detention. i was supposed to drop the trailer for 2 days and they held it for 2 weeks. now they dont wanna pay for the detention. and they not giving me a bol when i leave

    2 weeks. I would've called the police after 2 days and reported trailer stolen. What is in your contract,rate confirmation.
    If you don't have a signed contract limiting duration of their using your trailer, just my guess you have no claim.

    You did voluntarily drop off your trailer.

    The Bol I have know idea. Write your own up and submit for payment.

    I wouldn't be surprised if they find a way to charge you for trailer storage for two weeks ... Day 3 you should've been pulling it out of yard loaded or empty

    i only own 1 trailer so day 2 1/2 id have hauled ### with it
