It's % pay for anything under 200 loaded miles.

Most times we load off or gauges and are really close to 80k lbs in which case we'll just leave it alone, or way short of 80k lbs in which case we'll go put more on.

Sometimes we're loaded or top'd off on the scale and they'll hit 80k dead on.

Overloads happen when the customers scale is off. You trust it over your gauges and your gauges end up being right.

We're bulk haulers, loading heavy is what we do.

I agree, I was just setting the record straight. I was least on for 1 year.

anything under 200 miles????? that's bull#### you must be one of the boys!! they tried to put me on a load a week or so ago that was 110 loaded miles and I blew up on them, the dispatcher said he would pay % but ask me not to tell anyone what it paid. said they paid mileage on those loads! Not gonna happen in my world.

You can leave all the % loads for me. I did 3 loads of urea down by Reserve a few weeks ago that were 20 miles round trip in one day. They paid $415 a load and I got them done in 9 hours.

Percent loads are the best, but some people will never be satisfied.

I don't run on Oakley authority. I do pull for them from time to time. Always by the bushel or ton. I was incorrect on the fact of 80k it's 81k cutoff. Sorry for the miss info. I assumed Oakley pd everyone on the weight not the mile.

I know that whenever I haul off/out of the terminal they'll let us load 81k lbs.

But those loads hardly every go far.

And me (leasee) gets milage on everything unless it's under 200mi.

I didn't know Oakley hired O/O with their own authority. In fact when they advertised on the dave nemo show they would specifically say they do not broker freight.
