if the pickup driver would have completed his pass and not corralled the Camaro behind him, there would have been no wreck.

Maybe not at that mile marker. But you're right. The pickup driver is also guilty of road rage, without a doubt.

You have a twisted view of it. If the Camaro did not attempt to pass on the shoulder, there would have been not wreck. It is no simpler than that.

What traffic laws did the pick up brake? How many laws did the Camaro break?

As dangerously as the Camaro was driving, he could have caused and accident further down the road. He had a BAC of .19. Drunk drivers have killed people with lower BAC's.

    I blame the pickup,
    legally it's the Camaro's fault .
but the pickup caused the wreck.

The pickup should have stayed right except to pass (and he wasn't passing) Im sure the lawyers can find the correct wording.

Of course the driver of the camaro screwed up. But do not discount the other elements here. Major contributing factors.

You've got a mighty twisted view of things. Thankfully, most of the rest of the world doesn't share it.

Next time your on the way into the truck stop, stand in front of people coming out and block them. Don't let them past and see what happens. Youll probably see a few sheep but sooner or later you will meet the one that tears you a new hole. You going to tell people it was his/her fault?

Many states are passing laws about holding up traffic. The pickup was purposely impeding traffic. If you spend any time on the road, you see yahoos like the Camero passing on the right and cutting in every day, it didn't get unlawful or reckless until the pickup purposly screwed with the guy and he tried to pass in the grass...but hey, it's New York, a-holes are in abundant supply in New York (and the majority of the N/E for that matter)..I wish they would build cars with stronger front bumpers and allow a 1 bump law...you impede the flow of traffic, car 2 is allowed to bump car 1 one time to encourage him to pull his head out of his butt...so long as it doesn't cause a spinout. Call it the Earnhardt law...If you are in the left lane, pass and move over...there is no way he could tell this guy was drunk in the short period of time he saw this guy...he should be sited in this as well
