    We do the see the odd cam problem, but it is not more than any other regular issue.

    I would go with a CM871 and "tweak" it. Best engine Cummins has made IMO.

    That's the way I was before owning one and listening to all the BS people said without actually ever owned one.
    I've had 12.7, 14.0 DD, 3406E, 6NZ C15 CATsand a couple of N14 Plus and they're excellent engines, no doubt.
    But after you do a MM2 on this engine no Detroit or CAT can touch it with the power/efficiency it has.
