Some students do stay at a nearby red roof inn. No, they do not push haz mat on you at all. They don't even instruct you on it. They have recruiters from various companies come and make presentations. In addition, they are quite helpful in giving you applications to fill out for various other companies, and will fax them to those companies when you turn them in. I had offers from 4 companies when I graduated, all of them major players. I chose to go with TransAm. While I was there my class had presentations from recruiters from Averitt and TMC. Werner and usxpress will hire any graduate of the school, barring a felonious criminal background.
hope that helps.

I'm using the WIA Dislocated Worker Program to fund the school. I live in Chatham County about an hour from Raleigh and my "caseworker" informed me I would most likely need to stay at the hotel. Strange.
Also I've been looking at several different companies (TMC, Maverick, Watkins Shepard and several more) to try to jump aboard with so hopefully a couple of them will be interested. Its good someone on here actually went through CTA since you can't really find anything online about the school other than their own website an apparently disgruntled students video on YouTube. -
