Carrier 2500 unit locked in continuous run mode

Needs to be reprogrammed.
Take it back to where you bought it, shouldn't be hard to reprogram.
Maybe see if there are some intellisets set up.

Guess you can get the Software and a Cable can't be that hard.

 

Same problem continuous mode locked I got it in Ohio now I am in Texas plz help Tnx!!!

 

Open the roadside door,there should be a plug terminal.Unscrew the cap and put jumper wire from the a pin to the b pin.Turn on the unit,it will tell you to remove jumper.Now follow the instructions and you shpuld be able to change it. Good luck

I have an old Prime trailer with a Carrier Advance 2500 X2. It was locked in continuous run and I could not unlock it. I went to a Carrier dealer and they showed me the work around. The tech went into the intel’s-sets and switched it to “fuel hog mode”. This is effectively the the factory default setting and it will allow you to toggle between continuous and stop-start modes.
