Another example from Russia.
Notice how easy and fast it went from dry asphalt to snow/ice mix.

I won't start of with the "Back in the Day" but I've run a CB for over 40 years through the gas crunch of the 70's, the 55mph crap and I won't go out of town without one. It's hard most of the time here on the eastern plains of Colorado because every truck you see has a radio and no one turns them on. I don't know why. I love I-80 in Nebraska because there's always someone to talk to. Many a day or night it's kept me awake plus the other benefits.
So quit the garbage language and keep your ears on!Blaskowitz and mike5511 Thank this. -
If the speed limiters go into effect we might see a surge of bear reports.
Blaskowitz Thanks this. -
The garbage language and trash talk is the whole reason that a whole lot of us turned it off in the first place. -
When I was talking about the trash talk I was referring to the guys we hear on channel 19 with their 20,000watt plus bases in the south or the northeast. I'm sure you're right about guys shutting their CB's off so they don't have to listen. I just turn down the gain.
Blaskowitz Thanks this. -
How did all these sensitive girls get into trucking?
Only time I turn down my gain is when there's too much static. Otherwise it stays wide open. I don't use squelch, and I don't shut it off unless I'm parked or in a thunderstorm.Blaskowitz Thanks this. -
wore out Thanks this.

Drivers have made the CB practically worthless... Unless there is weather or I'm sitting in traffic for no apparent reason, the CB is off or so squelched out that they have to be beside me to hear them.
