I have connected to the power plugs for the cb radio:
A 50 watt Mirage "CB" radio
A 60 watt VHF Ham radio
My XM receiver
A cell phone charger
They all run fine since neither radio pulls a lot of power while they are receiving. As long as more than one radio is not transmitting at a time there are no issues. Every once in a while when I use the VHF radio my cell phone charger stops charging, which is probably due to a voltage drop while transmitting. -
I used my converted over peaked and tuned 160 watt Galaxy DX 47 HP in a freighliner and it messed up the computer on the exhaust fluid DEF system. A sensor keep shutting off my motor while doing 65 and would only allow me to do 20 mph . To allow me to crawl on the shoulder to the next truck stop or exit.

Where'd you have it peaked and tuned?

The RM italy model KL 203P doesn't need more amps. Hook it to the same connection as CB. It's 100 watts and available on ebay from a company in Britain.
I had it tested and it does smack out 100 watts. Cost was app $110.00Last edited: Feb 14, 2016
