Hi so my check engine light came on and has stayed on, flashes occasionally.
Coolant and oil levels are all ok, can't see any leaks or pipes , wires out of place etc.
I got the flash code 55 which after googling seems to indicate there is no issue....but the light is still on.
Trying to find a place to pull in to have them take a look but in the mean time any suggestions?
Thanks
check engine light on

What year and which engine is in it?
-
Sorry 2006 twin turbo w900 cat c15.
Also about 5000mIles ago had full service oil change and manifold gaskets replaced -
nope, could be a million things...fly turd in the egr, short in passenger side wiper, some interval has passed maybe...a leak? a bulb? a glitch even...
You can unhook battery for 15 minutes...You also would need to drive it for whatever the drive cycle is to see if code clears..
At least its w900...Less things
good luck...a sharp feller with a scanner can figure it out probablyEWV Thanks this. -

Unfortunately I've never owned one. Usually you can turn the key and hit some kind of button for it to give you a flash code to help figure it out.
EWV Thanks this.
