check engine light on

    Sorr I didn't see ur comment. Yep that's how I got the code 55. Turns out had 2 issue stemming from a bad workshop we no longer use..during a service air filters were not changed but we're told they had been...they were beyond full. Followed by having to replace #3 & 4 iva solennods. Boost back up running like a dream

    You have to check the code when its flashing, if you turn the truck off you lose it, you can get it by hooking up a laptop, but

    Yea yea we got the code correctly and so did a cat workshop....they also put the computer on and found the problem. All sorted now tho thanks

    I keep getting a check engune light when I'm pulling over 40k. Truck runs fine. Temps and gauges are fine. Can't find anything wrong with it. It goes off eventually so idk. I didn't want to spend $ having volvo check it yet. 2008 volvo 630 vnl 485 Cummins Isx pre Def

    Maybe coolant levels when she's heavy n hot? We had a company truck do that on us...just needed topping up a bit
