The City of Tonawanda, NY is beginning a new aggressive campaign to get trucks off of residential streets and out of residential neighborhoods. There have been numerous reports of wires pulled down and drivers that fail to stop after such incidents. The Police have asked residents to call their office immediately upon seeing any trucks on residential streets or in residential neighborhoods. Of particular concern is the Young Street railroad underpass (extremely low bridge clearance), Elm Street, Killiwald Street, State Street, and Fletcher Street. Truckers will be ticketed, no exceptions or excuses!

Problem is too many idiots that either can't read signs or just plain stupid.... I recall there's one bridge around that area that has been hit a bunch of times, despite all the warnings and flashing lights posted there. Of course there's always that line "my GPS took me through here."
