    Just got my class A yesterday and finish school next week. I got a conditional job offer with USX today. Supposed to start orientation in two weeks. Should I run with it or continue to shop around?

    They have autos. If you want to run with US Xpress as long as you don't take a dollar general account they seem to be ok. Now why I didn't go their. After you finish with your trainer you team with 8 weeks with another new driver. That is why I am at Averitt and love getting home every weekend with autos also.

    Yeah all Averitt allows is your spouse...but hey that makes the 30 min mandatory break manageable now.

    Would you care to elaborate Trooper? Back on topic, I would continue to look at other companies. Trooper has a good point in which you would have to team with a new driver for 2 months, even after you completed being with your trainer. I have also read somewhere on here that U.S. Express is more of a team company. This may or may not be what you are looking for. Congratulations on your Class A license!
