Anything is better then being on elogs, slow trucks, driver facing cameras and getting paid by the mile.I turned down a job this week where i could make 100,000 plus but im not running governed trucks under 75 or elogs i like my freedom

Did Tyson slow their trucks down? I've had to slow down twice, so they could crawl by.

I drive for Crete currently and they have been good to me, one of the few who haven't completely lied to me, except for the up coming sleep study crap they want me to do which is a deal breaker for me. Anyway, I get good miles even at 62, lol and as far as the cameras go. They only put cameras on drivers who have certain health issues or have lots of incidents which to me is understandable. Either way I bought a used Pete last week and am going to join the world of o/o.

How many miles do you average OTR? I've got my app in with Crete now and am hoping to get their "stated" average of 2900.

I am on a dedicated route and average around 2700 a week on a 5 day work week. Seems about normal for everyone on dedicated here, otr guys are getting around 3000 a week. Just stay away from Schafer unless you like waiting more than driving lol

65? 62? Couldn't prove it by me. I watched a Shaffer driver blow through two separate red lights at full speed in Hannibal, MO tonight. My truck is governed at 72 and he left me behind so fast I never saw his tractor, just his trailer number.

My truck is governed by the laws of physics and how fat my wallet is at any given time. :) There should be a law that trucks must be governed with in 10 miles of the speed limit. nothing worse then getting stuck on a two lane 75 mph road behind a 58 mph truck. or worse watching the turtle drag race that plays out.
