How do these other companies know about your crust contract? Are you telling them? All the contracts says you have to work for em so long or you have to pay for your training? Right?

What made you want to go with CRST in the first place?

The truck is not fixed. I am not getting paid for 2500 mile run and I don't have a trainer. anymore questions.

Your getting that moment we're everything that can wrong, will go wrong. You and your brother need to tough out the contract. Get all the BS aside, calm your nerves, take a deep breathe and go from there. Your stuck with them. Get a calendar, mark down when your contract is fulfilled, smile and do your job. Count down those days with a smile knowing your gone obligation free when the time comes. Its not going to get better anywhere else. Your a student that hasn't paid any dues therefore your at the bottom of the barrel. Sack up and tough it out.

Alot of things can be said about CRST, but that won't help you any. You signed the contract and now you have to deal with it. Quitting is not an option at this point if nobody will hire you. You are not even at a point to drive on your own.
My advice is make the best of the situation and get the attitude right.
You can shovel crap mad or you can shovel it happy. You know you have to get the 8 months in.
No matter where you go, things will be tough the first year. Even at that, there are drivers on this forum doing halfway decent even at the bottom feeders. How do they do it? Attitude!
I remember my first company. There were days I wondered if I could get a cash advance so I could eat that day. Then the day I paid them off I quit and it done nothing but got better. Many new drivers jump into this business thinking they will make big bucks day one. It just doesn't work that way.
Trucks break down everyday and it will happen many times in your career. Do you get mad each time it happens or do you deal with it because it's part of the job?
Nobody in this industry likes anyone that shows anger and disgust. That holds truth with your dispatcher, trainer, the shipper, receivers and even the law. You have to maintain a good attitude with each one no matter how much they make you mad.
Why? You will be treated better with a good attitude. Anger will cause you to sit, get the worse loads, customers will take longer to load/unload you, etc.
I know what you are going through. I signed on with another company in Cedar Rapids. I had a motel room to myself while new CRST drivers were across the hall 3 to a room. Every morning I listened to them complain about which ragged out truck they get for their lease. Then you see their terminal and it reminded me of my Army days going through basic training.
You being there only 3 weeks tells me you ain't gave it a fair chance yet.
Why don't you have a trainer?
You can always quit and go in the military and learn a trade. But a contract is a contact. Never sign anything you can't obligate yourself too.
I always tell new drivers to get their training at a community college. Then you ain't obligated to anyone other than paying off a student loan which they will delay 6 months after completion.
You live and learn. Your plans of driving with your brother fell through. Get up off the ground, dust yourself off and get back at it. Seven more months will go by quick once you are on your own.Lonesome, TruckinT, longbedGTs and 2 others Thank this. -

I understand that and can understand why you are mad. I was just trying to say if you let them know you are mad, it will only get worse.
