Well that would explain the traffic backup with a semi pulled over by the state police, yet no accident. Also would explain why they had him out of his cab doing the roadside olympics. I was going northbound and saw this happening.
5 times the legal limit?!?!? That was a brilliant career move. Lucky he didn't kill someone. Hope he enjoys his stay at Kennebec!MidWest_MacDaddy and Moving Forward Thank this. -

What is the deal with truck drivers in Maine? That state seems to make many truckers stupid.
Moving Forward Thanks this. -
A buddy of mine went with Swift back in the early 00's. His dad went with him.
After a couple months, I saw him at a local bar. I asked, "how's your dad?"
"He was caught passed out drunk in the middle of traffic in Staten Island. He's going to be locked up for awhile."
I understand the urge to drink but drink and drive? A semi! Hell no. -

Alright all you old timers, was trucking as bad as it is now back in the day with accidents, drunk drivers and the ones driving while on drugs?

Today's generation of drivers can't handle their liquor. Weed on the other hand, will keep them mellow for days on end.
