Small world I was on the CB speaking to one who was flatbed and it was pouring rain and after talking about the deaths in SC turns out we live in counties right beside each other. Anyways he was going home for a day then heading back out after seeing the kids.
Curious, how often do O/O generally stay out

I usually stay out 4-7 days and home 2-3 days. I stayed out for 2 months at a time as a company driver and got less miles and less than half the pay per week.
scottlav46 and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this. -
Depending on the time. I've stayed out 1 month, then back home for a week. Run a couple weeks then back. It all depends. I can route myself thru home. So it all depends.....
flood, scottlav46 and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this. -
Depends on the money. If the money is jumping, I stay out for months on end. When it slows down, I go home.
