I can run recaps. I just did that this week and still did 3100 miles. I just like to run hard then take a day. I can do either. I just like my way. :)

What I have always tried ot do is drive a 8 or 10 hour session and use midnight and stop around 6am, then 4pm the next day I have a new 70 hours to use.

I like doing 10+ hour drive days. Just something about them. I like running hard then having a day to kick back and relax once a week in new places.

    Town Drunk Thanks this.

The thing is is that I do not like showing a 34 and a fresh 70. That just shows the planners and the system that they can try and push you if they want. When the system shows that running off recap then they can not. I like my 400-450 miles per day and not anymore. My preference. I am content with my 2800-2900 miles per week. Ohh yes I know Mac 9 and adjusting my times. I do it all the time.

Just a matter of preference. I find the way I run I am apt to get long runs that are short on time. Having 46 total hours to do 1250 miles I s something I have done a few times. Getting runs that ket you do 550 to 600 miles a day make for nice pay checks.

You can have all of them that you want. You are young. I have paid my dues. I like my 1200 mile runs that have 3 days or my 2500 mile ones that have 5 days. The day will come when you find out how your body is feeling after day after day after day of 600 miles per day. Also my dm knows how I like to run and she can plan me.

I am the same way I like to do 400 to 450 a day. You all can have them 550 to 600 miles days all you want. I happy for 2500 to 2800 a week. Can I do them 600 miles days yea but I prefer not to.

Very fond of this return to 34 hour resets as often needed without restriction. Especially, after home time, I will run out my 70 in 5 days, then do a quick reset to hit the following week hard again. I can reset or recap, and have seen the same results...but I felt a pinch with that "once per week" rule.
I am like a couple of you....flexible: I can run hard, but there are times I could care less to break 2,500. In addition, my two doggies tell me to slow down, almost instinctively like they know that we've had our fill. Sometimes the dogs decide. :^D
