Do ANY Prime drivers do their pretrips?

They have sensors on trucks that can see if a frame cracks? Impressive!

Not to mention the sensor that tells you that Bubba parked next to you didn't pull your 5th wheel handle for giggles while he was out for his morning whizz.

If you visit one of the many prime Facebook groups I think you will find that there are alot of prime drivers who believe the tails don't really save any fuel , so they won't waste their time opening them. Myself I've seen that they do work and you are right if the people who say they won't waste their valuable time were actually doing a pretrip it wouldn't cost them but a few seconds to pull the release cords as they are checking their rear lights

Edit : just FYI rumor has it if a prime driver reports a a prime company driver who doesn't have his tails out , or doesn't have his trailer locked ( loaded or empty ) he can recieve a 50 dollar reward bonus for being a little snitch , I really don't know if that's true but I wouldn't put it past prime to do that
