...please answer the poll above, I'm just curious as I'm thinking of getting one.
Would like to know if the camera has ever helped you in some way?
    Please share your stories. thanks!

I would not mind having one of my own, but a company one I would refused to have installed in my truck. No way am I going to allow a company to have control of anything with the word "Camera" in it in my truck.

Had another truck back into me three times while I was in the restaraunt. Heavy snow obscured the damage so I didn't notice it until the next morning 300 miles away. Reviewed dash cam and found the culprit. His company denied that truck was anywhere near where I was. 45 minutes after receiving the video I got a letter from them accepting all responsibility for the incident and they'd pay damages and downtime. Came out to early $10,000 for a new hood and downtime. Would have had to file against my own insurance if it wasn't for the camera. One of the best things you can have on your truck these days.

Upload the video clip from the camera onto your computer's hard drive. Then attach the clip to an email. Pretty simple once you know how.

I have a Garmin dash cam. Haven't had a reason to pull video from it yet and I hope I don't have to, but it's a smart investment for any driver out here. The $220 can save a lot more if it's needed.
