I am trying to get on with Roehl with the CDL program. Don't mind staying out for weeks, kids grown and gone and no wife so it makes it easier.

My question is, I have heard about having some time between loads or lower mileage weeks. What do you all do when there isn't a load after you drop off?

Golf, visit friends, watch tv, do laundry, pretty much anything you want.

Read. Research other companies that will keep you moving.

Call a company that doesn't make you sit unless they pay you to. Once in a while, things happen, but as a norm, never.

They keep you moving most of the time. The truck doesn't make money for Rickie if those tires aren't rolling. The longest I ever had to wait was 20 hours and that was due to a customer not Roehl. That sucked.

How do you bring a bike? Where do you put it? I had wondered that as I do like to bike. Thanks!
