I've been running my own numbers for a year now and Im not seeing any profit. I'm trying to keep my business afloat. Should I switch to a reefer unit? Will I be able to make a substantial difference???

    What's your cost per mile?

How many direct customers do you have? I would focus more on business development than switching up trailers and the learning curve of reefer.

I usually run between 1.75 to 2.36 per mile however ideally I would like to be in the 2.75 to 3.50 per mile range

I think what taylormade was asking is what's your operating cost per mile.

Rates you have posted are not realistic right now. If they were you would not be coming here and saying that you are in the red. It just does not have sense, unless you are talking 100 mile all day loads

I gotta second the LOL. Also the caveat. Maybe he's got a brand spankin truck with a huge payment. Lotta variables.
