Im setting up my authority. Would I be over 26,000 lbs if i were to drive a dodge ram 3500 with a Take 3 trailer hauling 3 large SUVs or 4 cars? If I am, I would have to pay IFTA and IRP tax

Well, you'd have 18,000 lbs of vehicles with 3 big SUVs, your pickup weighs 7000+ and the trailer, you're pushing 30,000. Get IRP and IFTA and be done with it.

Your GCVWR will be way over the 26000 even if you only have a ford escort on. You will need IFTA and Apportioned plates.

I thought so. Today I saw a dually with the same setup that said 40,000 on the side. Large company, too

40,000 is too much for a dually, even though it may be legal, it's not safe in my opinion.

I had 2 Bentleys in my 2 car enclosed, and I was never so glad to get those two cars out of the trailer. The truck pulled it but I had to get on the brakes for a stoplight and I thought I was gonna see Jesus for a minute.
