Well what they don't tell you is what kills you they raise the rates each pay check an there payroll staff quit 2 seeks ago an things went to hell in an handbasket so it breaks down like this for van you get a 3.00 surcharge every time you use there gas card the charge fot the lease all this comes out after there 25% gas lease Qualcomm wc/occ acc bobtail ins maintenance escrow plates hvy hwy an qc despoit an no I didn't write qc twice they charge you twice an the fees have gone up. So day you add health insurance there goes your check you worked for free. Say you grossed 4000 in a week they take 1000 as part of there 25% that leaves you with 3000 not bad wrong you used 900 in gas for that week they charge you 903.00 for useing there card that leaves you 2097 now the fees an lease so you have 164.62 for health insurance an lease is 652.04 maintain 100.85 qc fee 14.00 eagle Phs dam ins 104.00 bobtail ins 8.08 wc/occ acc 58.00 plates 58.00 hvy hwy 100.00 qc deposit 58.00 so that total of fees is 1243.58. So take 2097- 1243.58 an you get 853.42 an lumpers may or may not be reimbursed. That's for one week you have to book all of your loads yourself or you won't make a thing eagle brokers will give you the most heavy ones you'll spend a fortune in gas run far away an the whole company is for sale right now.

They are not charging you twice for QC.

One is a usage fee the second is an equipment deposit.

The above is a perfect example of the majority of l/p drivers I've met.

Im in orientation here at Eagle now, from what I can tell and what Ive been told by the two buddies I got over here, Eagle is what you make of it. You need to have the will to run and work. Eagle will give you the tools to do the job, but its up to you on if you can manage the system

I keep telling everyone there, you are not a company driver it is your truck. Don't let them in your truck. Find ur own loads and run your business. Check my post that was a real weeks worth of running. With real cost and profit. Some places r better some r worst. I can't get over them taking 25%of my fuel surcharge.
