My shifter was fine the other day, then I started to hear a slight rattling sound and when I went to shift, the knob felt a little loose. I can still shift but it grinds a little and I can turn the knob back and forth. Anyone ever have this happen and what's the best fix? Can I run like this for a week?

Mine has a screw in the front and a screw in the rear. Are yours missing or loose?

Try to pop off shift tag on top to find torx head screws that will screw back in? If the whole shift rod going into floor seems to be getting floppy its the rubber isol. under floor mat near tras. top that must be replaced every time it gets bad.
