    Good Evening,

Wondering if anyone has any ideas on where there is good parking for a few days in El Paso, TX.

Preferably a place that I can feel fairly safe that when I come back there won't be any dings and dents...

I'm in the market for somewhere that I can leave my car while I'm out.

I suppose another question I have is how safe is leaving a rig and trailer [pad locked of course] at a Love's, Petro or any other truck stop?

I would go with a paid lot I remember seeing one with 24/7 security up the street from the swift yard on diesel drive.

Look at the "RV storage" locations, too. But the El Paso area [like many] is not known for "security" so expect your vehicle to be broken into and don't leave anything behind you're not prepared to part with.

The yard that Stevens used may still be around on north Dyer in the northeast. 24 hour security as the owner lived there

You can park anywhere. However, you may have to go to Mexico to get your truck back.

    Almost anywhere.

City ordinance states no commercial vehicle parking on city property in residential areas. If you can get your rig on your property and off the street that's OK.

If the city tows it off, it will likely end up at the city impound lot on north Railroad Drive. The positive thing about that is they are open 24/7 so you can retrieve your vehicle at 2am if needed. :)
