    Just seen this, anyone know which stop this is. I am in Wyoming all the time but I dont recall anything on exit 290?



    Big story emerging in Laramie, WY

    Group of young guns restored long gone truckstop on I-80 at Exit 290 just West of Laramie. They declared price war against big corporations including Love's, Pilot and TA present in town and known for overcharging everyone but big fleets like SWIFT which are given big discount. Group of truckers took over old truckstop and set prices BELOW the price SWIFT gets from Pilot. Thing is, SWIFT and other big fleets can't buy here so about 40 trucks a day are asked to leave every day so they don't take parking spaces from you and me: owner operators - the little guys just trying to get by. Fuel sold there is NOT Bio-Diesel which them owners hate and BigRigShots is testing it for moths twice a week. America is for tough little guy - #### I had a good laugh hearing story about Love's guys getting absolutely mad about this truckstop giving them ride hahahahaha Keep on trucking guys! America!

    Like we need select parking at TSs. So that means that when a swifty pulls into pilot and the lot is full they will tell a independent to leave so swift can have his spot.

    Quealey Dome... that place was nearly wore out in the '80's when I first stopped there. Used to be pretty busy before all the modern truckstops in Laramie opened up. Stayed warmer up there @ night than it did down in Laramie, too.
