What are the odds of being put on full time feeder driver from off the street
-
So I work a a hub and I heard they have 9 feeder positions open I'm only a package handler now and iv been there 6 months I hate my job all I do is bag packages right now and I want to become a feeder driver but I'm not sure how hard it is I go to work to work not be with lazy people and make up for their slacking iv heard from a few other employees that it's impossible to get the feeder position but iv heard from a few it's easy I don't know who to believe and I never have a chance to actually talk to a driver I'm willing to wait if it's not going to be years down the road I'd rather just drive for someone else if it came down to that but my uncle applied for the position off the street and he already has a interview and he hasn't had his cdl for almost 10 years now should I try to apply or just go on my way and find another driving job there is plenty but I hear ups is great to drive for.. thanks for your time I hope someone replies!
