The first Western Star 5700 XE auto-shift tractors to hit US highways will be dressed in C.R. England livery.
The company announced this morning it is the first US carrier to receive the industry’s newest Class 8 highway tractor with Detroit’s DT12 automated transmission. It will begin taking delivery this month of nearly 200 Western Star 5700s. They’ll be given to tenured solo and team drivers and million mile drivers as a reward.
The trucks will feature Daimler’s DD15 engine.
