Flatbed companies that take students

Britton Transport is good. @MrEd is the flatbed trainer.
Howard Transportation - private carrier for Howard Industries.
Paul Transportation
Jones Bros. Trucking

all the above are smaller companies
Get a passport or passport card if you want any Canada loads.

Howard Transportation has a terminal in Kenly,NC

 

Averitt has a flatbed division and those guys uniform policy is a little more relaxed and the pay per mile was better than van and I never met a flatbed driver that wasn't happy unlike the van division.

 

I find all averitt drivers to be jerks

 

Hey I'm not lol , but I couldn't stand driving for them either. I think the uniform makes them think the are better than anyone esp. the trainers. When I did drive for them I got into it with a couple of trainers.
