Generator for the tractor

$399 with remote start to my door from cabellas.
Very quiet. I is hard to tell its running if there are any trucks or refers running near by. Not as quiet as a Honda but quieter than idleing the truck for sure.

 

What's the run time of that on a tank of fuel?

 

Used generator is worth half on a black market, even less if u want to sell fast.
Honda inverter generators keep their values. Strange, you see one with thousand hours on board, and only $200-$300 less.
His generator cost 2k. You can buy 5 generators like yours. 5, ok.
His generator on the black market will sell with 400-500 less than original price. You can still buy 4 generators new with that kind of money.

A thief knows how much everything cost.
For $100 his not gone break his back, by the way, yours might actually wheight 250LB. Ya.... I know you can break your back with that.

 

With this kind of generator, I can sleep with 4 bolts and a lock.

 

One thing about that gen. It isn't built to run continuous for long periods. The cam bushings in those cheap gens. Are splash oil fed. Notorious to fail after so many hrs. Cheap?, yes may get lucky and it may not give any trouble. Maybe not.

 

With that kind of thinking, then maybe should go with a cheap truck, cheap tires, cheap oil, cheap brakes. Remember the old saying. "You get what you pay for".

 

Apples and oranges. Yes, I was afraid about tires.
I can get deals online that worth more. For instance HOME DEPOT had 50% off on ARIENS GENERATORS. I managed to get ARIENS 5000watts for $399. It have a Subaru engine. They had the ARIENS 6500watts for $599, with Honda engine, but I missed it, went OOS FAST, so I got the 5000watts.

But the inverter Honda never go on sale that much. The most sale I see is $100 off. Probably because there is no competition.
Why not Ford ,GM or Mercedes, make generators? Don't know.

All I'm saying, is people should use common sense, when they buy something. They know how it is, where they live. If they don't feel comfortable, they shouldn't do it. What is your gut feeling. Some people they work in good areas, some they take the truck home.....and so on...

A cheap generator on your truck, is better than a Honda inverter generator that got stollen.

 

You pay for your stuff with your freedom. In order to make money, you pay with your freedom. Then you use the money to pay for stuff.
So the stuff is not just stuff, it's more like ....your freedom.

 

I bought one of those cheaper Ryobi 2200 inverter generators last summer. I don't think it made it a whole month before the engine blew a gasket.
