    Well I just got the window plate and ac unit in ..generater mounted too.
    It's about 88 in Omaha now with truck sitting in the sun , I pre cooled the truck and covered the windows and it's a cool 68 in the truck .

    I'm at home testing this and the sun starting to set now and had to turn the AC unit down cause it was getting cold in here .
    My truck is a mid roof which helps ....the real test will come this weekend in Laredo where it will be 105 .

    Well I left today and got to Waco Nebraska and was about 90 and humid .
    Put the unit in and have had to keep turning back the thermostat and fan speed to keep from freezing to death .
    I ran it 6 hrs at home yesterday and the generator used less than 2 gals of fuel .

    Based on this now it's a no brainier and get a generator with remote electric start .
